The library's approach was accepted in advanced nations like England, America, and the origin of the library-movement was first introduced there. F. in England A. With the efforts of Ebert and Edwards, the first law on public library was approved in 1850. Through this law, libraries have been set up by the Local Body Institutions by collecting taxes from the public. All of them started getting free library services. The Public Libraries and Music Act was approved in 1964. Under this Act, the principle of public libraries was the responsibility of the nation. Accordingly, 42,868 libraries have been started according to the law. In the United States in 1848, the first Library-Law was approved in Massachusetts and accordingly a Public Library was established at Boston.
India's Library Movement - India's Library Movement started with the establishment of central and district wise, blockwise and village-wise libraries, organized by Shri Sayyaji Rao Gaikwad of Baroda, in his organization. In the first decade of the twentieth century, this was the first step of the movement. Earlier, the Government of India provided the library records in 1808, the nineteen general libraries established in India in the nineteenth century, the Press and Registration of Books Act, approved in 1867, the establishment of the Imperial Library (1912) etc. Things are important in the library movement. In 1924 the work was started at the Library of Baroda and the first time in the country for the development of the library of librarians. The movement of the library movement started in the Bodo institution also came out, and according to the educational needs and progress of that region, the steps of the Library movement were further up. In particular, the states of Madras, Bengal, Punjab and Mumbai made great progress in the field of library during the pre-independence era. Along with library workers, social workers, political leaders and donors supported the Library movement. Dr. Ranganathan is known as the father of the modern Indian Library movement. He has also written a rich library of writings.
Library Act, which was approved in 1948, library programs started by various universities etc. Because of the Library movement, there has been a wider form.
From the five year plan of the government of India, the move to the library movement has already started. In the first Five Year Plan, there was a provision that public library system should be established from all the states. In the second Five Year Plan and in the Third Five Year Plan, the systematic arrangement of the library plan was an integral part of the education system, according to which the financial provision was made. In the fourth Five Year Plan, the Planning Commission appointed a committee of the expert librarian in India, so that the activities should be considered for the library's purpose. During the fifth Five Year Plan, a committee was formed to think about the development of the library. After this, all the five-year plan, planned and managed by the well-equipped modern libraries, has been kept in mind.
Library dissemination started in Maharashtra in 1921. Mr. D. W  Joshi's  initiative, the Maharashtra free library council was established and the Maharashtra Library Team was established. The report on the development of public libraries of the Fiji Committee appointed by the Mumbai government was published in 1940. As per the recommendation of the Fiji Committee, the construction of central, regional, district and block libraries started in 1947. After the establishment of the state of Maharashtra in 1960, the organization of the Maharashtra State Library Association has been formed in 1962 to create an organization that can help the departmental organizations of Maharashtra increase their cooperation and represent all the states. This important work is being organized by the organization of the Library movement. The Library Act was approved in Maharashtra in 1967. These governmental library accounts have been established by the independent government and the establishment, rearing and organization of public libraries is in progress.
Continuous need to make enormous knowledge of science and knowledge of research in the library has become necessary because of the need for co-operation in the library. These organizations are formed not only in the nearby two libraries but also in countries and international libraries of the province, because of the need for mutual exchange and cooperation. Inter-Library Delegation of Knowledge, Collective Booklets, Co-authored Technical Support, Blindness, Free Delivery, etc. There are some aspects of cooperation. The maximum use of available texts is the achievement of Library Cooperation and national and international organizations have been set up for it. Use of libraries in school education - The school library contribution is very big in the quality of school education. School library aims to motivate teachers and students to use the available literature in the library and to provide the necessary library services to them. Today, there is an educational need to get more access to the school library in school education. Education cannot be achieved only through textbooks. The school's work can be run by the school's law and activities. The library provided students with the necessary reading material and provided them with the necessary knowledge about the students. Therefore, in school education, students should have the opportunity to use the library and get their knowledge and natural appetite for curiosity by the school library. The success of this work of the library depends on how much and how students use the library material. Therefore, the education library should be provided to the students by providing necessary material to the students. The Library should organize various services and activities so that the library can be used more and more for the students. Eg various competitions are organized in various school activities. This includes competitions such as painting, essay, signature, oration and debate. Books available on the books from these libraries can be made available. Historical references, geography, civics can also provide deeper information on books. The library helps in teaching and evaluating all subjects of the school. That's why the library has been compulsory for every school according to the Right to Education Act 2009.
The format of the school library - The collection of material is set in front of the objective. The school board and the headmaster must have a definite role to play in the school with only one central library that should be class-libraries. One important thing to remember in this role is that the success of the school library depends on how much and how students and teachers have the opportunity to use the library material.
1. Central Library - An ideal library system is a single central library for providing better library services in schools. Because there is a well equipped library for the entire school, it is possible to provide good library services to all the students and teachers of the school. Since all the literature is in one place in the central library, the students get an opportunity to use that material for a long time under the guidance of the librarian. In view of these benefits of the central library, the headmasters should establish a central library in the school. The library is an effective tool for acquiring knowledge.
2. Class libraries - having a central library and a trained librarian in every school is an ideal library system. However, it is not possible to make Central Library available to all schools considering the difficulties of today's schools. Class-libraries are inevitable in schools where the central library cannot start. Class-libraries are organized systematically and helped in the development of students. The Chiplunkar committee, appointed by the Maharashtra State Government, has expressed its views on class-library in its report. "Class-libraries are an important tradition in the school library. In this tradition, students working as head of the class library get experience of librarian work and help develop leadership qualities. Other students get a close inspection of library work.
3. Book reading activity - To give books to the students at home, it is an important educational work of the library. Students do not have time to read books and reference books in school time, so they should make arrangements to get books in their houses. To increase the interest of reading and enhance students, these books need a lot of service.
4. Library Hour - All schools should have at least one library hour per week for secondary schools. This table can be read by the students of central library or class-library books. In this test, students can also work to read the books at home. This tactic can be used by librarians and class teachers to make reading interest among students. Reading lessons, ritual reading- Using books in boxes, this tactic can be used to make reading interest in the students. The library system is well utilized to encourage students to use the libraries by producing scriptwriting and reading passwords.
Some of the library activities - Some of the activities that are being used by school libraries to gain access to the school library and the benefits of the Library services are taken for students.
a) Reading Cerebrum - In the library hours or students, it is time to get free time, for reading, they can read good reading materials from the library in the reading boxes. While preparing this chest, the librarian has to put forward the approach to motivate students to read. Keep records in each box.
b) Supplementary Reading Brochure - Students from upper primary and secondary class should read the books provided by the Education Department for the purpose of reading a few extra in addition to successive books. If students of class teachers and subject teachers encourage students to read books in these books, then students will have to practice uninterrupted reading. Educational is very useful plan. She must be well organized by the library.
c) Mid-Vacation Reading- Students get less time for school days during school days, so that in order to get the benefit of reading students who are interested in reading, they should make available books in the library.
d) Newspapers and magazines and newsletters cannot be read by the students despite the desire in school time. It is important for academics to read real magazines and newsletters by school students. Students should be given special facilities so that they can be read in the middle vacancy or after school, so that the students do not remain deprived of these good reading materials.
e) Special facility for students of 10th-10th students are concerned about the success of the exam. These students should think of their exams as much as possible by considering the school's library and helping them in their studies. They should make special use of their reading beyond the time of the school so that they can use handy books and other materials and use them. Students, who do not have a home-based study facility, definitely benefit from this library program and the library can participate in the work of increasing the quality of our school.
f) Books for special exams - Many students of the school sit for special examinations. They should be encouraged by the students to sit for the exams and make available their books and other literature to the library. The success of the school students is definitely a great achievement and the contribution of the library in this success is important.
g) Business Guidance - Make books and brochures available for various courses and business information and make the students available in the library. Apart from this, the information provided by the Business Information Center should be given to them.
h) Reading Vocal Activities - The reading wing activity from primary schools is presently seen as successful in large scale activities. In this, a rope is built on the front wall of the class. Considering student age, interest and syllabus, books are hijacked. Students read and read books according to their available time. Books have changed over a period of time. In this way, students from the library get encouragement for all-round development.
The Library should be very well equipped considering the current status. Books in the Library should be considered for the age group, child psychology and study methodology of these students. These books should be done every year according to need and available funds. The books should be registered for books, registers of book records, book authors, registers of pricing and utility records, students and teacher books. Library's rules should be written in the library. The books should be classified by books, and they should be kept in a box in the subject cabinet. There should be a composite structure that can be read by the names of the books and writers from the sculpture. The topics of the books should be classified, content wise, author wise. In the Library, students should have such a facility to sit and read. Reading the newspapers, weekly, magazines to sit in the library. In modern times, the use of computers has grown tremendously. E-learning should be available, considering students' favorite and modern techniques. Through computer, students can read books available on the Net; such facility can be made available for study. While teaching, subject teachers should plan at least one library session a week.
The library development movement has been started to enrich the library in each school of Kumthe Beat in Satara district. In order to enrich the library of each school, community help organizations and organizations are being assisted in the form of a book.
The village of Bhilar, Satara district has been recognized as the "village of books". The collection of different books is seen in every house in the village. Experience a book reading in front of every house, sitting in the house.
The Government has made a book list available to primary schools under Khadufala Scheme. Also, under the Sarva Shiksha Abhiyan, every school was funded for the purchase of books.
The overall text should be thought of as a guru and should create libraries in the school.
